ECOWAS Vision 2050 is an ECOWAS of the people. It is a borderless, peaceful, fully integrated & prosperous West African region, built on good governance, and where people have the capacity to access and harness its resources through the creation of opportunities for sustainable development and environmental preservation.
ECOWAS Peace Fund Mission
The ECOWAS Peace Fund (EPF) was established by the Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) as a contributive instrument to the achievement of ECOWAS’ mandate, with the mission to fund and support relevant activities and initiatives for conflicts prevention, management, resolution, peacekeeping, peacebuilding and recovery, while developing the capacities of relevant stakeholders to promote durable peace and human security across the West Africa region.
